Having all Teesside businesses with a free page on the site will remain our focus and ultimate aim, of course, but we're looking to provide extra special promotions in the form of header banners, line ads, editorial features and category sponsorship ads at extremely competitive prices - ad space is limited however so be quick! Businesses will benefit from increased coverage to our ever-growing membership and additional activity on our social media channels, as well as helping our local good cause in the process! Update on membership. Membership continues to expand - we now have in excess of 1000 members taking advantage of the offers already available through the site, but we'd really love to see more of you out there with your vouchers. Why not enlist your friends and family into the v4t fold - the more people using the vouchers the more likely we are to attract new businesses wanting to offer new deals to our members. Also, if you notice a particularly good business that is not on v4t why not tell them about the site, or tell us and we'll do the running! Happy local spending! We're on the lookout for a single charity to support on Teesside. Ideally we'd like to set up a more binding partnership with a local good cause - something akin to a "Good Cause of The Year" where we set our sights on a specific target for a single charity and promote them and their fundraising activities for a full 12 months, we could even organise joint fundraising events. We're offering 25% of our affiliate marketing revenue as a start as well as free promotion for the selected charity- but that's really not sufficient. What would be great is if our members got on board too - perhaps by agreeing to donate a proportion of any savings they make from using our vouchers - and if businesses could join in by providing additional offers or prizes for fundraising competitions. To begin with we will have to decide on a charity to support. We'll shortly be polling our members and businesses with a selection of local good causes, all worthy of our support, but we'll be bringing it down to just one - and that charity will become our "Good Cause of the Year", chosen by our members and business advertisers. We'll then meet up with the chosen charity and arrange things from there. vouchers4teesside is a free service to local businesses. By providing free membership to local people, and free web promotion to local businesses we hope to sustain the local economy. We operate purely on a voluntary basis - our only source of revenue is from affiliate advertising. By getting businesses on board to provide offers we hope to increase awareness of the site and, in doing so, raise funds for our chosen good cause. As our membership grows and people start to utilise the great offers we already have, so interest grows from other businesses to join the site and add an even greater choice of offers – it’s a win win all round!! We’re currently working with a number of prospective new businesses to bring you bigger and better offers – including Military Fitness Group who are looking to launch an exciting new diet plan to the UK that we hope can have a direct impact by supporting a number of our selected charities – right here on Teesside.
